Erin McCallum is Managing Director of Windy Run Media and veteran communications leader. Erin is an Australian-American campaign expert with more than 16 years of experience helping candidates, organizations and agencies build movements, launch brands, shift public opinion, and win campaigns on more than four continents.

In the United States Erin has served as a trusted senior advisor and earned and paid communications consultant to candidates and campaigns at the local, state and national levels. As Senior Vice President for Revolution Messaging she ran the department responsible for breaking records in digital fundraising, launched presidential campaigns and worked closely with Members of Congress, labor unions, not-for-profits and progressive organizations.

In Australia she served as National Campaign Director for Australian Marriage Equality and as the Founding Director of the “Yes” campaign ahead of its historic win in 2017. She also served as Campaign Director and Chief of Staff for GetUp – Australia’s largest and most influential progressive movement — leading campaign strategy on climate change, social justice, and human rights issues and mobilizing millions of citizens to take actions that resulted in significant legislative and corporate victories on climate action, gambling reform and asylum seeker reform. She appeared frequently as a political spokesperson on Australian TV, radio and print representing progressive campaigns and issues.

Rod Wright, Director of Production

Rodriquez Wright II is Director of Production for Windy Run Media. Rod is skilled in using both traditional and digital marketing strategies to deliver a cohesive advertising message across campaigns. He has a deep understanding of different types of media channels and how they can be used to reach various audiences.

Rod has worked with national organizations such as We Are March On and the Black Institute’s #KeepStarz Petition Drive in Chicago, IL. In Tennessee, he worked with the Mike Bloomberg For President 2020 campaign, Glenn Funk For District Attorney, as well as many candidates for Mayor and other municipal offices. He has also worked with Equity Alliance, Our Fair Share and BlackPAC-Tennessee. For these campaigns, Rod created content that was used on their Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram pages.

Rod has experience monitoring online and offline ad campaigns, including those on radio, TV, websites, magazines, and billboards. He regularly reports advertising campaign results, including revenues and costs, and optimizes advertising strategies for varying audiences and channels.

Rod’s expertise in creating effective advertising campaigns is based on his extensive experience in the field. He has a proven track record in creating new campaigns to reach a broader audience. His ability to ensure a cohesive advertising message across campaigns is an essential aspect of his success. Daren Berringer, Managing Director, Media

Daren is Managing Director for Paid Media for Windy Run Media. For over 25 years, Daren has produced media and worked as a strategist for multiple presidential, statewide, congressional, international, nonprofit and independent expenditure organizations.

Daren has been at the forefront of implementing innovative tactics including the first use of SMS/text messaging to raise money for a presidential campaign and for organizing the eleven global Live 8 concerts.

Daren has been sought out for his political opinion by MSNBC, Fox News, Politico, Roll Call, The New Republic, The New York Times, the Financial Times of London and The Wall Street Journal.

Daren lives in the Pittsburgh area and has worked extensively in Pennsylvania politics. When he’s not developing cutting edge media and campaign strategies, he is pouring unlimited energy and love into parenting his daughter, Atlee. Together, Daren and Atlee are die-hard activists, frequently marching and protesting for BLM and other progressive causes.

Ryan Miller, Associate

Ryan Miller is a Strategic Communications and Production Associate for Windy Run Media where he contributes a youthful eye to his focus on digital media, youth messaging, and social media strategy.

Ryan has studied Film and Digital Media at the University of Galway through the John Huston School of Film, and at Virginia Tech. Ryan’s passion for editing and filmmaking was ignited in Galway, but his love for American politics was deepened at Virginia Tech. Windy Run enables him to combine those passions into an ideal job.

Ryan is skilled at Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop and prides himself on his eclectic interests, which range from beekeeping to tennis to a good John Irving novel.
